Manufacturers recommend that your air con is recharged every 2 years. As your car’s air conditioning is not checked as part of your regular service, regassing is important to make sure that all is well with your vehicle.
If your AC is blowing out warm air or only works intermittently, an AC recharge can bring back cold air when you need it most on hot days and can also improve fuel economy as there is less strain on the system and engine. In Winter time a windscreen will demist in half the time with a functioning AC system even before the heater has warmed things up inside
But what will all this cost? We offer a mobile air conditioning regas service from £75 for most older cars using R134A gas and £120 for cars using the newer R1234YF gas. Whilst tested if we cannot restore your system to full function then no fear there is of course no charge to pay.
